GEOPHYSICS

GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY

-The geophysical survey uses non-destructive and low environmental impact methods, as it is an indirect investigation method.

-In addition to providing benefits with environmental aspects, the use of geophysical methods has other advantages such as:

- Possibility of investigating a large area in short time (compared to direct surveys);

- Use of portable equipment (applicable under different conditions);

- In mineral prospecting and engineering works, it provides greater depth of investigation and optimizes time and costs (identification of target areas for planning direct drilling campaigns, etc.);

- Minimizes costs in groundwater collection works (identifies failures and fractures), reducing the risks of drilling dry wells.
